PRO-DRIVE BOATS

In the summer of 2004, Pro-Drive introduced their “X” series boat line. It was their goal to introduce a shallow draft boat to compliment shallow draft outboards. After running many different hunting boat designs, Pro-Drive discovered that a square chime boat runs higher and drafts less water in every condition which, in turn, produces better speeds and higher load carrying capabilities. The square chime and smooth bottom gives the consumer the best maneuvering capability when running at idle or low speeds. Therefore, the “X” Series boat line has emerged.

Pro-Drive is very proud to have been the first in the industry to bring you a seat/gun box which can be positioned in any of six different locations or can be removed completely.

Knowing that hunters and fisherman run in areas where they will have to cross logs, stumps and bottoms which can damage the bottom of most light duty hulls and because of its commitment to quality, Pro-Drive constructs all of its boats with 5086 grade aluminum which is .125 thick. With experience from building airboat hulls in the past, Pro-Drive knew that in extreme environments, a boat that has ribs running across the width of its bottom tends to buckle in between the ribs. Therefore, Pro-Drive runs 1” x 2” rectangular ribs across the length (front to back) of all their boats. That along with 2” X 2” square tubing bracing the floor and side walls make it almost indestructible.

Our custom boats come with many of the standard features that other manufacturers add on as options. Although their prices may seem less expensive on a base boat, once options that Pro-Drive offer as standard are included, they are much more expensive in most cases.

• 1" X 2" RECTANGULAR TUBING FOR RIBS WHICH FOLLOW THE FULL LENGTH OF THE BOAT.
• FIVE (5) RIBS ARE USED ON THE 48" MODELS AND SIX (6) RIBS ARE USED ON THE 54" MODELS.
• 2" X 2" SQUARE ALUMINUM TUBING IS USED FOR BOTTOM AND SIDE SUPPORTS.
• 2" X 4" ALUMINUM CHANNEL FOR UNBEATABLE TRANSOM STRENGTH
